The S&P Global Platts Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference (APPEC) has been a prominent industry event for the global oil community for 35 years. The 2019 conference marked the fourth year APPEC was put on by S&P Global Platts and the first year the S&P Global creative team branded the event. This first-time partnership was met with challenging, apprehensive business partners but provided the creative team an incredible opportunity to deliver exceptional creative work and increase brand equity.
The event had 600 attendees+, increasing attendance by 14% from 2018, and contributed to record revenue from ticket sales and sponsorship. On social media, #PlattsAPPEC was trending #1 on Twitter in Singapore and secured almost 6,000 impressions on LinkedIn, with over 31 million impressions across all social media platforms.
